Michael had a studio in Fort Point for years and now works in the South End on Wareham Street. He graduated from RISD, later got a masters at Mass Art, and has been teaching and running the Art program at a middle and high Charter school in Dorchester, Boston Collegiate. His work, abstract landscapes in oils and woodcuts and monoprints, has changed over time from responding to the landscape around him, to building landscapes that explore ideas. He has exhibited in a wide range of venues and cities, and has work in many corporate and private collections.
